A monkey in forest fire!

The era when Silbaripuram region was covered in dense, wild forest. Generally, the place enjoyed pleasant weather. However, one summer became extremely severe, plunging the entire forest into a drought.

All the springs in the forest had completely dried up. Animals ran helter-skelter, searching desperately for water. It was in this critical situation that all the animals in the forest gathered together, filled with distress.

The clever fox among them suggested: "If we remain in this forest any longer, the friction between the bamboo thickets might start a wildfire. We must move to Kosalapuram Forest as quickly as possible."

At this, the elephant spoke: "That is true. But, when we reach there, won't the animals already present there start a fierce war with us?"

The fox continued: "We must explain to them that we haven't come to establish dominance. Even so, a fight might break out. But, it is better to face a brave death fighting than to be burnt alive in a wildfire here!"

Forgetting their hunger and thirst, they began their journey together towards the neighboring forest. Midway, when they spotted a large beehive on a tall tree, one monkey couldn't control his craving.

As he jumped up the tree, the other monkeys warned him: "Hey, there is honey in the forest we are going to as well. This forest is dangerous right now!"

But he paid no heed. Greedily, he began sucking and drinking the honey from the combs. Meanwhile, the tall giraffe spotted a wildfire catching up in their original territory behind them and roared!

"The wildfire has started... quick, everyone run forward!"

However, the monkey, intoxicated by the honey he had just drunk, understood nothing. Within a short while, the wildfire completely engulfed the area!

Moral of the Story:

Many people receive or are given warnings at the right time. But if you choose to ignore them or pretend you didn't see or hear them, the result will surely be destruction!
