Hoja's sense of humour!
A story that reveals Hojja's sense of humour. When a death occurred in the village, a friend came to visit him.
That friend had a peculiar habit of asking a doubt about everything. The moment Hojja saw him, he muttered, "I wonder what his doubt is today?"
As soon as the friend entered the house, he asked Hojja, "Hojja, you know my neighbour passed away. I have a doubt—when walking with the coffin, should one walk in front of the box or behind it?"
Hojja said, "It doesn't matter whether you are in front or behind."
The friend immediately threw the next question, "Then, what position should I stand in to hold the coffin?"
Hojja said, "Any position is fine."
He asked again, "Should I walk on the left side of the box or the right side?"
At that moment, Hojja became angry, "Listen, my friend, any side is fine. However, the only place that would be a problem is inside the box!"
The friend was so scared by that reply that he left and walked away without asking anything further.
