Hoja as a strange man!

Once, Hojja was walking when he saw a friend weeping, beating his chest.

When asked, the reason was that his cattle shed had caught fire and was destroyed. However, Hojja, knowing the reason, did not try to console him at all.

Another neighbour who passed by asked Hojja, "What kind of person are you? His cattle shed is burnt to ashes, and he is crying so much, yet you are sitting here without saying anything?"

Hojja replied, "All his cows and goats in the shed were destroyed by the fire. Yet, he is wailing only about the shed burning down, without even thinking about his livestock. So what good would it do him even if only the shed was saved from the fire?"

Hearing Hojja's bizarre theory, the neighbour looked at Hojja as if he were a strange man.
