Story of a wisdom!

Once upon a time, in the ashram of Silbaripuram, a Guru had ten disciples. It was his teaching style to incorporate many small experiments and observations related to their studies.

One day, he called his disciples and said, "Tomorrow morning, all ten of you must go to the mango tree by the riverside. There will be many fallen mangoes on the ground. Each person must bring three mangoes to me here."

The next morning, all ten of them went there.

Since it was early morning, no one had yet arrived at the large mango tree to collect mangoes.

The disciples each picked up three mangoes and started walking back.

As they neared the ashram, an elderly neighbor woman asked, "My children, who will give me a mango? I didn't eat dinner last night. I'm very hungry."

Immediately, one disciple said, "We can't give this to you, Mother. We can't disobey the Guru."

Eight of the others supported him, saying, "That's right. Not even one mango out of the three should be missing."

However, one disciple, Ramu, stood silently. He gave a mango to the old woman!

Suddenly, the others became angry, "The Guru is greater to us than this old woman!"

Then, upon reaching the Guru, he said, "Today, my aim was to teach you about a human's duty. Your knowledge must transform into wisdom. Giving a mango to the hungry old woman is greater than the Guru's word!"

At that moment, one disciple asked, "I thought I should come here and ask the Guru before giving it."

The Guru clarified further, "How long will you be able to ask this old man like me? You must start practicing now to think independently and make the best decisions. Because in the future, everyone will face situations where they cannot ask anyone for advice."

Food for thought - Everyone should gain the strength to perform appropriate good deeds, guided by superior thoughts derived from various sources of information. Knowledge should become self-awareness and wisdom.
