How can beauty lead to your downfall?

 Once, a deer came to the edge of a pond to drink water. Seeing its reflection in the still water, the deer was amazed. Because, how beautiful were its antlers?

However, when it looked at its legs, it became angry - "How ugly is this? Terribly thin legs."

As it drank water and was returning, the deer was shocked to see a lion stealthily following behind! Immediately, it ran swiftly like an arrow. Right behind it, the lion also followed. But, because the deer's legs had incredible speed, the lion was far behind. Still, the lion continued to pursue it.

After running for some distance, the deer became exhausted. Just then, although the deer entered a thicket nearby, its antlers, which were like branches above its head, got entangled in the creepers. When it tried to struggle free and run, the entanglement tightened.

Then, things became very easy for the lion. It pounced on the deer!

Moral of the story - Not everything that is beautiful is necessarily good. Not everything that is ugly is necessarily harmful.
