The story of a good luck!
Once, some ministers came before the king with a complaint.
It was about a man named Karinkannan.
They said, “If anyone goes for any work after seeing this man, they will surely face difficulties and losses!
So, he should either be exiled from the land or put into prison.”
The king summoned Karinkannan. To test whether there was any truth in this, the king decided to keep him in the next room.
Early next morning, without anyone else noticing, the king looked at Karinkannan first.
After sending him away, when the king stepped into the courtyard of the palace, a coconut fell on his foot and crushed his toe.
Immediately, on the very same day, the king ordered that Karinkannan be executed at 5 p.m.
When one minister returned from a journey and heard about this, he spoke something to the king.
Hearing that, the king released Karinkannan.
Question: What did the minister say?
Answer: “When the king saw him, only his toe got hurt. But when Karinkannan saw the king, he was sentenced to death! So, the real ill-omened person here is the king himself, not Karinkannan.”
