The real friendship!
Once upon a time, in a village called Silbaripuram, there lived a merchant named Ravunni. A man named Keshavan lived and worked in his household as a servant.
One day, Ravunni's business earned an unexpectedly large profit. He immediately called Keshavan and said, "Hey, you need to invite all those who love me. You must arrange a grand feast and a party for them."
Keshavan immediately went out to the road in front of the house and shouted, "Oh no! Somebody please run here! The house is on fire!"
Many people from the neighbourhood heard his loud cries, but no one paid any attention. However, a few passersby and a couple of acquaintances ran and gathered in the courtyard.
Just then, Ravunni opened the door and came out. Keshavan said to his master, "You told me to invite only those who love you. So, to find out how many people would come to help during a crisis, I went out and shouted like this!"
Ravunni agreed, "That's right. The people who come to help us during a crisis are our true friends."
The two of them welcomed everyone, gave them a grand feast and gifts, and sent them off happily.
Moral of the Story: Our crises and urgent needs are the real tests that help us find out who our true friends are.
