How to fill 10 Liters of water?
Ramu has two buckets. The first bucket holds 7 liters of water. The second bucket holds 4 liters. The only measurements marked on the buckets are 7 and 4.
However, Ramu needs to measure exactly 10 liters of water. He can pour out water and refill the buckets.
At the same time, no other containers or measuring cups are allowed.
Question: How can Ramu measure exactly 10 liters of water?
Answer: First, fill the 7-liter bucket completely with water. Then, pour water from it into the 4-liter bucket until it is full. The 7-liter bucket will now have 3 liters of water remaining.
Next, empty the 4-liter bucket.
Then, pour the remaining 3 liters from the first bucket into the second bucket.
After that, fill the 7-liter bucket completely with water again.
So, 7 + 3 = 10 liters!
